Cells are the basic unit of life; forms that replicate and multiply to give rise to complex organic structures. My work focuses on exploration and research on the potential for developing shapes by aggregation and composition of simple basic units. Return to the source, to the beginning, to the base; construction and reconstruction; genesis after a stop along the way with reflections on a before and after.

A diversity of everyday organisms go unnoticed. Despite being close they are alien to us and pass our attention. From them I take the worms to make them visible and protagonists. Under an apparent fragility they show their strength and subsistence capacity being transmitters of qualities and attributes with which we would like to relate and that we want to share.
The aesthetic and expressive research of organisms that constantly modify their shape to move, feed, reproduce and perform different functions gave rise to Biomorphos. Their changing bodies adapt to the needs of the moment and the environment, which contrasts with our own perception of identity linked and rooted to a fixed body. PIECES THAT WORK INDIVIDUALLY AND IN GROUPS AS POSSIBLE BEINGS IN A NATURAL AND IMAGINED DIVERSITY.
Boats: Spaces to transport searches, hopes for better lives, dreams, joy and pain, new horizons, farewells, encrypted memories, departures, spaces without borders and symbols of promises.
Seeds: Birth, origin, potential, development possibilities stored in a small container waiting for the conditions to become and grow.
The roots are the direct relationship with the land and the environment, they are the support and sustainment that allows to grow and being. The characteristics and those of the environment generate an infinite diversity of forms that feed and invite aesthetic exploration.
Time is reflected in remains and organisms leaving traces that tell us their story. The traces of the lived and past are like signs to discover, interpret and decipher.
